Do you have a design in mind, for a mirror in a special area in your home? Even if you don’t have a design in mind, I can help you, with the additional use of stencils or my own drawings. If you have basic knowledge of pewter and have done one of my beginner classes, then this workshop is just for you. The workshop would take one or two full days, depending on the size of your finished piece. You would work on a design, transfer it to pewter, and would then emboss it in your own time and at your own pace. I would be there to help and guide you. You will then stick the mirror on to the base of your choice.

Using your previous knowledge of Zentangle, and having done my Zentangle Journey workshop, you would create a mandala in pen and ink on paper and then transfer it to copper sheet. While using basic hand held tools, I will guide you in the traditional embossing technique, repousse, where you will raise your design from the back. The design will then be aged and coloured and then stuck on a plaque. This is a full day workshop, with a break for lunch.

If you have basic knowledge of pewter and have done one of my beginner class, then this class is just for you. You would be working at your own pace, with occasional help from me, using my stencils and my drawings to design your own plaque., You would then use basic tools to emboss your design and embellish and patina it. Your design will then be stuck on a 20cm plaque.
