Design a beautiful keepsake box and embellish it in pewter. On this full day workshop, you will be guided through the process from the piece of sheet pewter to the final polished work. The box will then be painted and lined with fabric and a jewelled clasp added.
There is no drawing experience necessary as designs and stencils are available for you to use . This is a beginners workshop so no previous knowledge of embossing on metal is needed.

In this three hour workshop you will learn the basics of low and high relief embossing on sheet pewter. You will be using basic hand held tools and work from tracings and stencils. The pewter will then be given an aged appearance and polished to a high gloss finish. The finished piece will be used to cover a notebook and a pen. This workshop is for absolute beginners and no artistic ability is needed.

Make a bauble in sheet aluminium, using a low relief embossing technique and embellish it with ribbon and beads. No artistic ability is required as you will be working from stencils and tracings.

Three different techniques will be used to make these hanging ornaments. You will learn to emboss in low and high relief on pewter and copper and learn how to layer in metal tape. The decorations will be coloured with different waxes and inks and embellished with ribbon and beads.
No artistic ability is required as you will be working from stencils and tracings.

This workshop is for absolute beginners. It will give insight into the process of hand embossing on metal with simple hand held tools. I will take you through the process of low and high relief embossing on sheet pewter, which will then be aged and polished. You will then have a beautiful box-framed pewter initial to take away with you. You will also make a bookmark in pewter and embellish it with alcohol inks.
No artistic ability is needed. All materials are included.

In this full day workshop, you will try your hand at layering and embossing with metal tape on a cardboard former. You will use a patina and different waxes and inks to highlight. You will also learn the technique of metal embossing on copper, using both low and high relief, to cover the wings of the angel.
No artistic ability is required as you will be working from a template. The angel is 25cm high and can either be free standing or can adorn the top of a tree.
